Prior to that, she served as board chair for six years for the former Girl Scouts: Lenni-Lenape Council before its merger in Grace has been an active volunteer with Girl Scouts for more than 20 years. The Rookie of the Year award Nfw given to exceptional Girl Scout leaders who have exemplified Girl Scout values in their first or second year of volunteering. Barbara Busch of Boonton was honored for 55 years of Girl Scout membership.
Receiving the award for 45 years was Susan Haase, of Denville. Honored for 30 years of membership was Cindy Warner, of Parsippany.
Girl Scouts is the premier leadership development program for girls. In Girl Scouts, girls discover themselves, Califfon with others, and take action to create positive change in their own communities. There are currently 34, girl members and 17, adult members.
